Bush Gives State of the State Speech

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush gave his State of the State Speech Tuesday and he said he wants to keep reading as a top priority in all schools across the state.

With major budget problems, class size issues and the reading initiative taking center stage. Bush emphasized that reading must be an enduring, core value of the state.

Bush is proposing the creation of a $40 million contingency fund to help with any emergencies that may arise.

He's also calling for workers compensation reform and for a cap on non-economic medical malpractice damages.
