Girlfriend Runs Over, Kills Georgia Man During Fight

Cherokee County, Georgia police say a man was killed after his girlfriend ran over him.

Investigators say it all started with an argument Sunday afternoon.

During the dispute, the woman got into her pick-up truck and was trying to leave the house and that's when officers say the boyfriend started throwing bricks at her.

Cherokee County Police Captain Ron Hutton says one of the bricks went through the window and the woman ran over the man, killing him.

Investigators say they are now awaiting toxicology test results on the woman before they decide if any charges will be filed.

The drug talked came into the picture with his friends wife. Not sure why you think he was backed over. The police say different. He was pursuing her with a deadly weapon. Not in any report does it say she was pursuing him. He was not backed over he jumped in front of the vehicle.

Still trying to figure out where the drug talk came into the conversation. Who cares about that now anyway. Everything I have heard said he threw A brick trying to stop her from pursuing him with the vehicle any further. And she backed over him he did not run in front of the vehicle. Look at the pictures people.

I wonder if Mrs. Stallo has ever met the woman she calls a psychopath. She has the facts of the story incorrect according to all the reports. She sounds like the psychopath. I agree if her husband was indeed his best friend he should have helped him get off drugs.

    T. Lynn White lived in Knoxville some 20 years ago. He was convicted in a Federal crime of depriving a couple of their civil rights. He was in a plane crash at Island Home Airport after coming back from Atlanta. There were rumors he was involved in drug abuse then. Two or three people as I recall died in the plane crash.

This is a tragic event, but having known this woman for a number of years, I can tell you that she could never, nor would she ever bring intentional harm to anyone. She was attempting to leave the area and was being attacked, according to the news reports. I have not spoke with her or any of her family, but all of the reports seem consistant with the fact that she was not the aggressor. The truck's windows were broked out and he ran in front of the truck in an attempt to throw another brick through the front windshield. Had this gentleman not been involved in drugs and Ms. Houston not been associated with him, it might not have ever come to fruition as it did. Ms. Houston will have to live with this event the rest of her life, but she is not a murderer, as indicated by Ms. Stallo and would never intentionally cause harm to another human being, let alone someone for whom she had feelings. Also, there has been no mention of him having been backed over after being hit from the front!

I think you need to get the complete story. If he was a best friend to your husband as you say then he should have helped him with his drug problem. By the way this is not the first time he has been violent to her. If you checked the record he was charged and convicted of battery towards her in 2005 and served one year probation sentence. So now it leaves me to wonder who knows more about the situation.

You said it best, he was provoked so that should excuse his irrational behavior that could have very well killed her? I think not. The brick was a dangerous weapon just as the truck was and but for his "bad luck" (as you called it) he got the worst of it. She was leaving the residence. she was in "flight" mode and attempting to de-fuse the situation. He continued to antagonise her..as the story says. Your right it makes no difference what was in her system...she was LEAVING and he was still attempting to physically injure her. And she did call for him some help so it sounds as though so did not truly intend to kill him, so murder is not the proper charge. He is just as violent and appears to be the aggressor. My condolences to both of their families.

T Lynn was my husbands best friend. This women needs to be arrested for murder. She ran over him and then backed over him to make sure he was dead. She left the seen and called 911. What difference does it make as to what drugs she was on or him. This was a criminal act and she sounds like a dangerous person. T Lynn was a character but he never hurt anyone. He just had bad luck with women and this last one was a psychopath. What a horrible thing to do to someone. I think T Lynn was provoked when he thru that brick at her truck. She had no right to kill him. God Bless his family and friends.
