Three Florida teenagers charged with assaulting homeless men in Fort Lauderdale pled not guilty in court Wednesday.
Police say 18-year-old Brian Hooks, 18-year-old William Ammons, and 17-year-old Thomas Daugherty beat three homeless men with baseball bats, a golf club and a paintball gun.
One of the men, Norris Gaynor, was killed in the attacks. The three teenagers were indicted on murder charges in Gaynor's death earlier this month.
The three have also been charged with attempted murder in the beatings of Raymond Perez and Jacques Pierre who were seriously injured in the beatings.
All three suspects are being held without bond in the Broward County Jail.
