An undercover drug operation in headland led to the arrests of 17 people early this morning.
Authorities opened "operation crackdown" because of complaints of illegal drug activity in the community.
Of the 17 people who were arrested, three were juveniles.
They are all being charged with at least one count of "unlawful distribution of a controlled substance" which includes marijuana and cocaine.
The adult defendants have been booked in the Henry County Jail.
The juveniles were taken to the southeast Alabama diversion center in Dothan.
And authorities say "operation crackdown" could lead to more arrests in the near future.
