A teenage boy has been arrested for the February 5 murder of a Cottondale man. And authorities say he is the only suspect in the case.

But neighbors in the community where the man was killed are still living in fear.

33-year old Lamond Poole lived with his sister and her children at a mobile home park, right across the street from Cottondale High School. And those in the neighborhood are still reeling in the trauma of the night when he was found dead.

Lamond's shoes and his car are still sitting outside his home. And it's hard for his friends and neighbors to believe that they'll never see him again. But aside from the pain, those living in the neighborhood are questioning their safety.

Some are still considering moving from the neighborhood, while others are just trying to get over the shock of losing Lamond.

Authorities say Giles is the only suspect in the case. He made his first court appearance this morning. Giles is being held at the Jackson County Correctional Facility on an open count of murder.
