Former night shipping supervisor Calvin Carpenter admitted showing a pornographic video to subordinates on his personal laptop computer during his shift.
Management launched an investigation in March 2004 when an employee complained. The company fired Carpenter shortly after that.
Assistant shipping supervisor Keith Rogers was fired after management determined he lied when he said he had not watched the video.
The supervisors filed a federal lawsuit claiming white workers were treated differently for similar offenses, but the jury concluded the firings were a reasonable decision based on the evidence.
