Alabama Gov. Bob Riley awarded $350,000 to support the expansion of Bell Aerospace Services.

For decades mechanics have been upgrading and renovating Hueys at U.S. Helicopter in Ozark. Last June Bell Aerospaces bought U.S. Helicopter.

It's great because the expansion means new hangars and hundreds of more jobs. Ozark recently received money from the state to improve the city's infrastructure.

The fire suppression system will also be helpful for the aviation college which is next door to Bell. The expansion will also help the company grow. That's good news for Bell Helicopters and the City of Ozark.

The funding was made available through a program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs.
