A newly released document says the man charged with sexually assaulting and killing nine-year-old Jessica Lunsford told police in 1991 that he molested his wife's daughter.
The report states that John Couey said this after he was arrested for exposing himself to a five-year-old neighbor in Kissimmee. Couey spent less than five years in prison after pleading guilty.
The documents also include a letter Couey wrote to a judge that says he quote -- "took Jesus as my personal savior."
Investigators say 47-year-old Couey abducted Jessica on February
23rd. He's accused of taking her to a mobile home near her house,
raping her and burying her alive in the yard.
They say Couey confessed to the killing, but he's pleaded not guilty.
Trial is scheduled for July tenth.
