Punxsutawney Phil

The world's most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow Sunday morning. This means that there will be six more weeks of winter.

At a ceremony attended by tens of thousands in Punxsutawney, about 65 miles Northeast of Pittsburgh, the groundhog's handlers pulled him from his hold and proclaimed the verdict.

Six more weeks of winter is fairly typical.

Phil has only predicted an early spring 14 times in the last 93 years.
