Houston County’s sixth case of rabies has been confirmed by public health officials.
A raccoon found Sunday on Summit Street in Dothan tested positive for rabies.
Health officials say a resident found the raccoon in their yard with their dog.
There were no human exposures and the dog had already been vaccinated for rabies.
