President Bush has been called for jury duty.
He's among 600 potential jurors summoned for duty Monday in McLennan County in central Texas. That's the location of his Crawford ranch.
A White House spokesman says Bush wasn't aware he'd been called
and hasn't yet gotten the summons. The spokesman wouldn't say what
Bush will do when he gets the summons.
State District Judge Ralph Strother says he expects a response, but doesn't actually expect Bush to show up in court. He adds, "I don't think I'll be sending the sheriff out to bring the president in."
