There will be a meeting held Thursday to discuss building a water reservoir for the future water needs of Southeast Alabama.
The meeting is to discuss whether or not there is enough local support to move forward with the proposed 1,644-acre reservoir on the Little Choctawhatchee River in Dale and Houston counties.
The estimated cost of the project is around $140 million.
The meeting is Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at the Daleville Convention Center.
The public is invited to attend.
