Country Music Artist Present Check to Houston County Foundation

A country music legend visited Dothan with checks from four different artists to go to Houston County charities.

Country music artist John Anderson presented checks from himself and his industry peers, Tracy Lawrence, George Jones and Lorrie Morgan, each for $2,000 to the Houston County Foundation.

The Houston County Foundation is the committee set up to determine which charities will receive the money made from Country Crossing's charity bingo.

All $8,000 will be going to the charities.

Ronnie Gilley says Country Crossing is still on schedule to break ground in July or August.
