Even all these years later, the world still loves Lucille Ball.
This weekend in her hometown of Jamestown, New York, Lucy fans from all over are gathering for the annual "Lucille Ball Comedy Festival".
Folks can also check out the permanent Lucy/Desi museum and visit Desilu studios, the final home for many original sets and props from the “I Love Lucy" show..
More than 50 events take place during the five day festival, including stage shows by some of today's top comics, including Jay Leno and Caroline Rhea.
Visitors can also re-live some of Lucy’s most famous television scenes including the candy assembly line, and grape stomping.
