Dale County High School is doing things a little differently this school year.
Principal Patrick Cain says his experience as a math teacher showed him first-hand that each student learns differently which is why he is implementing the state’s 20-20 program, which is based on the needs of individual students.
Cain’s plan allows student to take core class tests at the beginning of the school year. If they pass, they do not have to take the class.
Students who do not pass the exam will have to take the core class and have progress reports.
Cain says this plan will help students excel in all subjects.
