Okaloosa Co. Woman Burned In Domestic Violence Case

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's office is investigating an aggravated battery, domestic violence case in which the victim suffered serious burns to her body.

45-year old Madeline Miller of Crestview is being treated at a Florida hospital for her injuries.

Okaloosa sheriff's deputies were called to the Tom Thumb store in Crestview around 10:40 p.m. Sunday night.

When deputies arrived, Miller told them her boyfriend poured rubbing alcohol on her during a fight at their home and then lit her with a cigarette lighter.

Deputies went to the home Miller shares with 41-year old Harold Cornelius Haynes, but he was not there.

If you have any information on Haynes whereabouts, call your local law enforcement agency.

It's pretty obvious he was trying to kill her. What a jerk. I hope they find him and throw the book at him. He deserves life for this!
