A warrant has been issued charging 26-year-old Michael Harper with possession of marijuana.
On Monday, narcotics officers served a search warrant and reportedly found a 1.5 pounds of marijuana at Harper’s house. Harper wasn't home, but his 70-year-old mother was.
Sheriff Lamar Glover said Bernice Harper was booked on a possession charge and released on a $5,000 bond.
Authorities said they believe that Bernice Harper knew about the presence of drugs and drug activity at the residence.
