A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after an accident on Ross Clark Circle.
Police say the accident happened around 11:50 a.m. Monday morning when the motorcycle was turning onto the circle when it collided with a car.
Witnesses say the driver of the car pulled out in front of the motorcycle.
The cyclist had to lay the bike down on its side, in an attempt to stop but was unable to and slid into the car.
“She pulled out in front of the stop sign and she did not see the motorcycle coming up Ross Clark Circle, she pulled out in front of him… He tried to lay his motorcycle down to stop and was unable to, and still hit her in the driver’s door," said Sgt. Tim Ward with Dothan Police Department.
Currently the driver of the motorcycle is being treated at Flowers Hospital, while the driver of the car was not injured.
