Thursday night Dothan City Schools Superintendent Dr. Leon Hobbs took time to speak with concerned parents and teachers about the upcoming vote on the tax referendum.
Hobbs encouraged everyone to vote whether or not they're for or against the increase.
He says people should consider the value of an education for their children when making a decision.
On Monday, Houston County School Superintendent Kenneth Lord will meet with Houston County Commissioners to outline how his school system would spend the additional money.
