Barbour County Man Charged in DUI-Fueled Crash, Infant Injured

EUFAULA, Ala. (AP) - A Barbour County man was placed in jail for DUI, reckless endangerment and other charges after authorities said he fled the scene of a one-vehicle wreck that left his infant son injured.

According to Chief Deputy Eddie Ingram, the crash occurred Monday night at about 7 p.m. on State Road 131 near Baker Hill. He said the driver, 27-year-old Scott Domino of Clio, was arrested by a state trooper.

Ingram also said 26-year-old Dusty Grantham fled on foot, but was captured after a five-hour manhunt. Grantham had been wanted for violating his probation.

Ingram said the infant was not strapped in a car seat and suffered minor injuries. The boy was treated and released.

Two women, including the baby's mother, were detained for questioning, but were not charged.
