Army ID's Soldier Killed in Motorcycle Accident
The Army says a 24-year-old soldier from West Virginia died in a motorcycle accident in Ozark.

FORT RUCKER, Ala. (AP) - The Army says a 24-year-old soldier from West Virginia died in a motorcycle accident in Ozark.

According to the Fort Rucker public affairs office, Specialist Richard A. Williams struck a curb at about 12:15 a.m. Monday.

He was assigned to the 6th Military Police Detachment, 1st Battalion, 13th Aviation Regiment.

Williams was a native of Moundsville, West Virginia. He is survived by his mother.

Plans for a memorial service are pending.

The Army post is located near Ozark, in southeast Alabama.
