Issues for Alabama

Steve Clouse represents the Wiregrass area for District 93 at the State Capital.

Clouse has spoken with Gov. Riley and is working with the governor's transition team to bring change to the area. But problems loom in the education and general fund budgets.

While issues like tax reform remain on the table, it will be an uphill battle according to Clouse. But the Wiregrass area may be positioned just right for change.

Clouse hopes special attention will be paid to developing a water reservoir, something he said is a priority over construction of the I-10 Connector. But as a whole, Clouse said the next four years should be good ones for Alabama.

Clouse said that accountability is the one thing that Alabamaians want to see from their lawmakers.
