Police Arrest Barbour County Man for Shaking Infant

Authorities in Barbour County arrested a man they say shook his girlfriend's baby, causing permanent physical damage to the infant.

26-year-old William Edd Walker Jr. is charged with first degree assault for allegedly shaking his girlfriend's eight-week-old baby.

Doctors at a Birmingham hospital say the baby, 11 weeks old, is blind, will have mental retardation and possibly cerebral palsy.

Walker is currently in the Barbour County Jail with a $50,000 bond.

The baby was placed in foster care in Birmingham

Someone in jail should take this guy and shake him until he goes blind. I hate people that treats babies and kids this way. I hope he rots in jail.
