Senate Democrats have begun one last round of questioning for John Roberts.
They're making a final effort to get some of Roberts' views on critical issues, something they've been unable to do in the first two days of quizzing him.
With Republicans united in supporting Roberts, he appears well on his way toward confirmation.
The Senate Judiciary committee votes on the Roberts nomination a week from today.
That allows plenty of time for Senate confirmation, so Roberts can be on the high court when it begins its fall term in two and-a-half weeks.
