The city of Dothan's "615-help" hotline has proven to be a much needed information source for evacuees in our community.

In a city commission meeting, Dothan's public information officer, Cynthia Green, announced that dispatchers are receiving almost four pages of recorded phone calls per day.

She also mentioned that the wiregrass chapter red cross has responded to 599-families in need.

And First Nazarene Church has provided more than 3,000 meals to evacuees.

Because of all the permanent and temporary housing that has been provided to evacuees, the Red Cross shelters in our area are now closed.
