Man is being held in the Houston County Jail and charged with receiving stolen property from murder victim’s home.
The body of the 69-year-old Joe Tex Johnson man was found in his home on Courtney Lane, April 15th.
Sheriff Andy Hughes says the home was burglarized earlier this month and a rifle, a hand-gun were stolen along with some other items.
The sheriff says the rifle was apparently pawned by David Waller and investigators found the hand-gun in his truck.
Both weapons have been sent to a state crime lab for testing.
Crimestoppers is still offering a $1,000 reward for information in the case. The number to call in Dothan is 793-7000.
