27 preschoolers and one adult ended up in Dothan emergency rooms Tuesday afternoon.
Their symptoms including nausea, vomiting, and lethargic behavior; have some speculating the possibility of food poisoning.
It happened at Calvary Baptist Church’s daycare Tuesday.
The Houston County EMA and the health department are investigating if the kid's lunch, chicken and rice, green beans and a brownie could have caused the sickness.
Calvary Baptist's daycare and pre-school are closed today as a pre-caution.
Officials say the daycare will be re-opened on Thursday.
