Obesity Study

There's new evidence that obesity may be un-healthy in more way than one.

A new study finds your weight at mid-life may affect your risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia in old age.

Researchers found people who were obese at mid-life were more than twice as likely to develop dementia 20-years later than those who were normal weight.

While the link between dementia and obesity needs further investigation, experts say it never hurts to take pre-cautions.
