The chairman of the Coffee County soil and water conservation district presented the county commission $30,000 federal dollars in help today.
District Chairman Kenneth Sanders says the high water created flooding problems for numerous streams and drainage ditches in the area.
Sanders says it's caused sinkholes and that has led to several road closures in New Brockton and Elba.
Coffee County officials say the 30,000 is a drop in the bucket as far as needed repairs are concerned.
But, say it's still a start.
