The Coffee County extension service is holding its annual petting zoo.
It was held Tuesday and again Wednesday.
Nearly 1,000 pre-school and kindergarten students in both the Enterprise City and Coffee County school districts will experience the wonders' of farm life.
It's a chance to go one-on-one with baby chicks, or a burrow.
Area high school FFA and 4-H students are helping out.
Enterprise High School students Misty Cutts & Meghan Barnes say, "Everyone seems to enjoy looking at the barn yard animals, learning where their food sources come from. I think it is fun for them to pet and play with them."
Due to the skyrocketing price and shortage of diesel fuel, Elba City School District students will not take part in this year's petting zoo.
