Father Gets 20 Years for ‘06 Killing of infant Son

A Dothan man has been sentence to 20 years in prison for killing his infant son.

42-year-old Tony Dent was found guilty of manslaughter.

Prosecutors say Dent intentionally caused the death of five-month-old Christopher in April of 2006.

Investigators say Dent took his baby to a hospital claiming the child had breathing problems.

The boy actually had a brain injury.

Investigators say Dent caused the injury by throwing his son against a couch.
