TROY, Ala. (AP) - The Congressional papers of retiring eight-term U.S. Representative Terry Everett will be stored at Troy University's Dothan campus.
In 1999, the Rehobeth Republican agreed to house his documents at the school's Archives of Wiregrass History and Culture.
Troy officials said in a statement Tuesday, the first documents arrived in 2002 and now total 170 boxes. Everett's work in Washington, D.C. covers a period from 1993 to 2006.
School officials said the documents won't be available for review and research until next January.
