Thirty-two-year-old Randy Flowers is charged with a hold-up that happened at the Shell Station in the 3300 block of West Main Street earlier this month.
Another suspect was arrested last week.
Police said the two men forced a store clerk into a back room at knife point.
But then the suspects were unable to open the cash register and fled empty handed.
Police also said Flowers was already wanted for burglary when he became a suspect in the robbery.
