Geneva Burglary Bust

Authorities say 18-year-old John Ingalls Junior and the unnamed minor used a 100 pound steel pole to break through the back wall of the Geneva Piggly Wiggly along Highway 52.

Ingalls is charged with burglary and theft.

Geneva police say the two men set off a silent alarm once they entered the business. They used the Slocomb Police Department canine to find the two suspects hiding in the back of the business.

Ingalls is also facing an unrelated lewd and lascivious charge in Walton County, Florida.

He has been booked into the Geneva County Jail.

The 17-year-old has been released into the custody of his parents.
