Massachusetts could be joining the list of states that let restaurant diners take leftover wine home with them.
At least 30 states already have versions of a wine doggie-bag law.
The Boston Globe quotes backers of a Massachusetts proposal as saying it could help prevent drunk driving because people wouldn't feel compelled to finish off the bottle before leaving.
Diners also like the idea. One woman notes that a whole bottle of wine really is a lot for two people.
