Northwest Florida authorities say a tragic boating accident has claimed the lives of an elderly DeFuniak Springs man and his son.
It happened late Sunday afternoon in the Glendale Community of Walton County at a private pond.
A boat overturned and authorities found the first man's body floating on the water.
He was identified as 62-year-old Alan Ramey, a long-time area attorney.
Late that afternoon, rescue teams found the second victim, 93-year-old Roy Ramey.
Both men were reportedly fishing at the time of the accident.
Autopsies will be performed on both men at the medical examiners' office in Fort Walton Beach.
Meanwhile authorities are trying to determine what caused the boat to overturn.
