The 2007 Miss Alabama, Keish Walding donated her time at Brewsters Saturday, to raise money for Relay for Life. The event is part of the American Cancer Society's campaign to raise both awareness and money to support finding cures for cancer.

Relay for Life is an indoor, overnight walk and this year, is going to be held on Friday, May 16th at the Houston County Farm Center.

The event is a chance for families to help support loved ones with cancer or who are cancer survivors.

Allison York, with the American Cancer Society said, "We're going to have Jerry Broadway there to emcee; we're gonna’ have inflatables’ for the kids. We’re going to have different themed laps, music, entertainment, door prizes, and things like that. So, it’s going to be fun for the whole family."
