Drug Dealer Sentenced to 43 Years

A Samson man will spend 43-years in state prison for selling crack cocaine.

Last November, Early Lamar, 55, was arrested at his home for the sale of a controlled substance.

He was the first of a dozen arrests on Geneva County Sheriff Greg Ward's "Operation Who's Next".

The sentence was extended because the sale took place near a school and a public housing project.

A second suspect on "Operation Who's Next" pled guilty.

Cameron Lane of Samson will spend the next 15-years behind bars.
