A northwest Florida soldier and another from Kentucky have been killed in Iraq.
The department of defense says they were killed when a civilian fuel truck crashed into their army vehicle.
Sergeant First Class Brett Eugene Walden was a native of Fort Walton Beach.
He was assigned to the First Battalion, Fifth Special Forces group at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Walden and Sergeant First Class Robert Derenda of Ledbetter, Kentucky, were killed in the crash on Friday in Rubiah, Iraq.
Two other soldiers were injured in the collision.
