Early next year, jet service will return to Panama City, Florida.
Beginning next February, Northwest will offer jet service on two of three daily flights between Panama City and Memphis, Tennessee. Memphis is the hub for Northwest.
The airline's turbo-prop aircraft will be replaced by the 50-passenger jet.
Northwest is currently the world's fourth largest airline.
