SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) - Two people are being treated at the hospital after their small plane crashed in Manatee County.
The Sheriff's Office reports that the pilot -- Mark Sticht -- and his passenger -- Norvall Dawson -- suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman says the single-engine aircraft crashed about a half mile off the end of a runway at the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.
Kathleen Bergen says the plane hit some power lines in the crash.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
