The Alabama Department of Transportation recently completed a traffic study for Enterprise. Mayor Kenneth Boswell says he is in agreement with state officials that a traffic signal needs to be placed on Glover Avenue near the post office.
Mayor Boswell says the study is part of an ongoing process to make driving in Enterprise more safe. With population growth, local and state engineers are trying to make sure that the city continually improves its infrastructure needs. Traffic counts are done to determine where gridlock and bottle necks occur.
Enterprise officials hope to be abe to safely accommodate traffic needs as the city continues to grow.
