Ready, aim and fire...these water fight participants were shooting for a world record.
C-N-N iReporter Howard Waggner dodged the spray to capture these pictures in Maricopa, Arizona.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records' website, the record for the largest water gun fight was set in September 2007 in Spain.
Two-thousand, 671 people participated.
But Arizona news station K-N-X-V reports that record was shattered last year in Bangkok, Thailand.
Participants in the Arizona fight say they topped Thailand's numbers by more than 300 people...claiming three-thousand 804 people were involved in their fight.
That's not yet been verified by the Guinness Book of World Records.
