Dothan Mural
Some Dothan residents are getting "hands-on" education, and it's all for free.
Several people toured the city's inner workings as part of Dothan 101. The program consists of classroom lectures mixed with various field trips that are designed to teach Dothan residents how the city works.
Classes are in their sixth week of the eight week session. On June 21st, the class was at Ross Clark Circle to learn how Dothan's traffic signals work.
Officials are planning their next eight-week session in the fall. If you would like information about joining the class, you can contact Cynthia Green of Dothan's Public Information Office, at (334) 615-3117.
