The Dothan Police Department held a community meeting Wednesday afternoon at the Rose Hill Senior Center to better communicate with residents.
For about an hour, police officials fielded questions from concerned senior citizens about their community and ways to improve security and safety.
Wednesday's meeting was one of many scheduled thorough Dothan this year in the police departments’ ongoing initiative.
Officer Thomas Davis of Dothan Police Department says, “If something going on that we have no idea about, we can be sure to address it and make sure that we can make this a safer place, and a better place to live"
The police department is planning more commnuity involvement meetings in the future.
