Miss Cleo
Miss Cleo is off the hook, although the same can't be said for the people she worked for.
Youree Harris -- the woman who was pitched to TV viewers as the psychic Miss Cleo -- won't face any charges, as part of $44 million settlement agreed to by the state of Florida and her promoter.
She'd been charged with deceptive trade practices in a civil suit filed by the state attorney general's office. But after the settlement was filed in court, she was dismissed as a defendant.
Her lawyer said she's rejoicing -- and that she maintains "an active practice as a shaman."
The company that trademarked the Miss Cleo name has agreed to pay refunds, and stop all of its pay-per-call services.
Miss Cleo didn't have to pay anything in the settlement. But her messages are no longer allowed on the air.
