It may not matter which celebrity Michael Jackson's jury hears from next, because it's already heard from the biggest star of all: the defendant.
Call it luck or genius, but Jackson's personal videographer recorded backup footage of the singer's interview used in the 2003 documentary that sparked a storm of negative reaction. In it, Jackson defended sharing his bed with boys.
But in the backup footage, Jackson gives a moving explanation of how his affinity for kids grew out of his own lonely childhood.
Actor Macauley Culkin echoed Jackson, saying sleepovers with the singer are about fun and companionship, not sex.
Other stars may testify for Jackson in person. But with the singer having his say on tape, safe from cross-examination, a personal appearance may not be on the bill.
