Enterprise Forum Draws Hundreds

Hundreds of concerned Enterprise residents attended a public forum Tuesday night.

It was on the proposed recommendations to re-build both Enterprise High and Hillcrest Elementary schools.

The large turn-out was mostly made up of Enterprise School employees and parents of children in the district.

An independent citizen's group came up with a dozen measures to pay for the 100-million dollar construction of Enterprise High.

The most controversial item is a half-cent sales tax increase.

The revenue would go to pay a 30-million dollar construction bond.

No action was taken during the public forum.
