Ozark Proposes Plan for New School

Ozark City Commissioners and school board members held a joint meeting Tuesday night to talk about the financial future of the school system.

A new building to replace Carroll High School is one possibility.

Superintendent Michael Leinhart presented his plan for a new high school with a more than 30-million dollar price tag.

The meeting was the first step in a plan to provide Ozark with what Leinhart calls a "first class facility."

Mayor Bob Bunting and Superintendent Leinhart will leave Thursday to see how a new school project at the University of Central Florida is progressing.
