Hartford Police say the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency, along with the Geneva County Drug Task Force proved instrumental with helping authorities arrest a drug dealer from Atlanta.
David Allen Riggio is being held without bond in the Geneva County Jail.
He is facing charges of trafficking in crystal meth and possession of marijuana.
Drug enforcement agents will soon take him back to Georgia.
The 28-year-old reportedly had more than 100 grams of "ice" in his possession. "Ice" is the most potent form of crystal methamphetamine.
Authorities say he intended to sell it to dealers along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Police say employees and customers at a Hartford business reported Riggio acting strange while waiting for a money order.
